Turkey:Robin van Persie intended move to Turkey giant,Fernerbahce is warmly accepted by his fans in the country. As his plane landed at Istanbul's main airport,he was met by large cheering crowds of fans. On Thursday Fernerbahce announced they had sealed a deal with United for the transfer and said they were confident of the deal. Reacting,the United manager,Van Gaal,said that no deal was entered. However,van Persie scored 30 goals for United as they won the league in 2012-13 season following his £24 million pounds move from Asenal. But series of lingering injuries hampered his performances in the last season. He was only able to score 10 goals in 29 appearances.
